Summary: Great No-Think Meals
Review: Love this book! I can sit down one day a week and make my grocery list from it, and never have to think about what side dishes to put with my entrees. It contains entire meal menus (just like the show) of food that you'd actually want to eat.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: FABULOUS GIFT FOR BACHELORS (AND THEN SOME)
Review: Never seen her show, from where I am. But this collection includes some of the most imaginative pastas, salads, sandwiches, make-your-own takeout and a host of other great eats that I have seen in a while. Lots of short-cut secrets and shopping tips. Godsent for a working bachelor. And it doesn't hurt that Ms. Ray has a pleasing sense of humour as well. I highly recommend this indispensable cookbook.

Summary: Yummy meals
Review: Would have gotten 5 stars if a lot of the recipes had ingredients that weren't so expensive. The author has great taste but I guess price is no object for her. Many of these recipes cost a lot for the ingredients which is a problem for those on a tight budget or on a fixed income. Would recommend giving this book to a friend or family member with a healthy salary and then hope to be invited for dinner.

Summary: AS MUCH FUN AS THE SHOW
Review: This book is not only informative but downright fun to read. You can almost hear her giggle between the pages! When it comes to good food real fast there is nobody better than Rachael.Hey Rachael Good Job!!!Thanks for making a klutz like me look like a hero in the kitchen.Cant wait for 30 minute meals 3!

Summary: Easy, but not ordinary
Review: I'm a fan of Rachael Ray's other cookbooks and of her TV show. I have tried quite a few dishes from this book already, as many have been featured on the show in the last year or so. Rachael's cooking style is not cutting edge gourmet; instead, her dishes are easily made and appeal to a wide range of people. At the same time, however, they have a bit of creative flair that keeps them from being ordinary. The book is not a glossy coffee table model, but is one that you won't mind taking into the kitchen. Rachael's energy and enthusiasm come through in her writing, which makes the book fun to read as well. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Summary: A must have for Rachael Ray fans!
Review: If you love the show "Thirty minute meals" on the food network, you would absolutely enjoy this book. She gives the whole menu-including the main, the side(s), and sometimes even dessert. They are listed together in 2 or 3 pages so that way everything is right in front of you. You don't have to fumble through pages to find what you need. There is a wide variety of food choices-fruits, vegetables, soups, salads, pasta, seafood, chicken, steak, drinks, dipping sauces, bread with toppings, and quick desserts(mostly ice cream with unique toppings that are simple). Ingredients are common and she doesn't use spices that you will probably never use again. The sections include:
MAKE YOUR OWN TAKE-OUT
MONDAY THRU FRIDAY DINNER SPECIALS
FAMILY-STYLE SUPPERS
DOUBLE-DUTY DINNERS
PASSPORT MEALS
BIG NIGHTS: VERY SPECIAL DINNERS
HEALTHY HUNGER BUSTERS
Alot of the menu plans are exactly from her show. I think most of the newer episodes. Not sure about that though. The only thing that I would like different is if it had pictures. It only has about 5 pages in the middle of the book. However, I highly recommend this book- Rachael Ray fan or not.

Summary: great for new and experienced cooks
Review: I am an experienced cook and really enjoy the way Rachael Ray shortens some classic recipes; I don't always enjoy being in the kitchen for 3 hours to prepare a meal. I have also purchased this book for both of my college age children in hope they will expand from pizza/burgers to some healthy and fun alternatives.

Summary: Thanks, Rachael!
Review: As a wife and mother who is returning to work part-time, I wondered how I would continue to make gourmet foods while balancing a hectic schedule. Rachael has given me menus that I would pay good money for at a restaurant, yet I can make them at home with ease of preparation, and without spending all day. The pecan crusted chicken salad, spinach-artichoke calzones, and quick tiramisu(just to name a few)have all made impressive presentations, and were, as Rachael would say, "Yum!" I am pleased that she tries to use ingredients in many different ways, helping the home cook to build a nice pantry and keep costs down. Also, there are menus that are low-fat/low-carb, and even with the more indulgent menus she tries to cut a few healthy corners where she can. Another nice feature is how the keyword for each ingredient is highlighted so you can see what you'll need in a glance. I have purchased 3 as gifts already, and why not, they are paperback and affordably priced. I can't wait for her Entertaining book to be released!

Summary: This is a GREAT book!
Review: I love this book. It's the first one I turn to when I'm trying to think what to make for dinner. Everything is arranged into meals, usually a main dish, salad or vegetable, and dessert, so it's all right there. Perfect if you're like me and can never decide what to serve with what. Highly recommended.
