Rating: Summary: Not a book for someone new to VBA Review: Be careful when you buy this book. It has excellent references to some of the most common tasks for Access 97 VBA. However, as I have found in other books on this subject, the publisher seems to have rushed this to the shelf. There are some typo errors on some of the examples that would cause problems with using the code. Aside from that, this book has answers to the most common problems in Access database usage.
Rating: Summary: Take so much time to follow even an experienced user Review: Even I have a skill in VBA, I still found that this book was not written in a well logical concept and order. It's difficult to follow and to visualize where it is going to.

Rating: Summary: Dreadful! Review: This book is clearly not for the beginners, as implied in the title - a guide. It is however useful both for the intermediate and the advanced. Style and organisation are somewhat debatable but once they are grasped, it is near- joy to press on with the chapters. In conclusion, it could have been better laid-out.
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money! Review: This book proved so unuseful, I returned it. He only lightly skims over basic Access usage, and leaves out crucial steps in his examples. I never saw anywhere in the book the version of Visual Basic used. Find a better book!
Rating: Summary: Dreadful! Review: Topic coverage is very thin; often the MS online "unhelp" contained more information. Try Alison Balter's book on the same topic rather throw your money down this rat hole!
