Rating: Summary: Very good and concise C programming text Review: I was searching for a good first crisply written text on C Programming besides the mammoth, densely written C text by Deitel & Deitel whose binding even fall apart after a few weeks.I had a big problem grasping Link Lists. But this text, as I had expected from having used it before on Recursion concept, did the trick. I was up and running in about an hour. You will not be disappointed if you spend a few days reading it. The dividends quickly follow. Looking it up on amazon.com, I'm now just surprised that the authors have not issued new editions to take care of a few cosmetic and appearance aspects. For example, when the authors show code, they separate the various parts of the code with a block of astericks. But astericks are used to show Comments Statements too; thus, using astericks again to show separation may be a bit much, to the average reader who does not want extraneous clutter on their pages. Good luck. Gerard J. Sagliocca, P.E. Albany, New York (United States)
