Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fantastic Book
Review: I should start by saying that I am a member of the organisation that published the book so I might be a bit biased. That said I think that this book is one of the best introductions to Wireless Digital Communications ever written.

It is written to make sense to the person reading it, without the need of advanced maths. By using lots of diagrams and not too many formulas the author takes you on a journey showing you why certain things are the way they are.

If you are looking for a book telling all about various low level modulation techniques for data, this book will give you that grounding. Things such as PSK, FSK, OFDM, ASK, MSG, GMSK are all described in detail, in a way that makes understanding the encoding and decoding processed logical.

This book would make a good introduction to Wireless Digital Communications not only for a University level but even for just an enthusiest who wants to know how this stuff works.

There is a lot in the 15 chapters in this book, and I am still learning things after having had this book for a few years. This book is probably more relevant than it was when it was first published.

Very worthwhile addition to your library.
