Review: If you're wondering how the heck you'd be able to learn the multitudes of different technologies out there that relate to Windows 2000 development, including ActiveX, COM, ODBC, OpenGL, Multimedia, etc. -- this is the book to get. There is no flusff in this book. Every topic is covered enough and with sufficient practicality. Of course, one can only expect so much depth with a single comprehensive book. Yet, it's an excellent means to get one's feet wet. And you decide that a technology is of more importance to you after reading a section, then buy another, more detailed book.
