Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very valuable book for the mobile communications engineer
Review: This book covers the field of Antennas and Propagation consistently with great detail. The content is well structured and offers great information for every reader, regardless of technical background.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Not a Good Book
Review: This book is bad, the topics are not in depth or well explained. Do not think to buy this book, if you are interested in the field of propagation buy "Mobile Radio Propagation Channel".

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A sketchy book that leniently gets average
Review: This book is very sketchy.
Most of the subsections are incomplete, or very brief by omitting a lot of things.
The majority of the included formulas are lacking of any derivations or adequate explanation.
Some of the formulas are also incorrect and unjustified, like the array factor in p76.
Errors have been found on the newer edition (although the previous edition is correct).
For instance, Fresnel transmission coefficient is wrong for the parallel polarization.
This is not just a typo since the mistake is carried on the example 3.1 p37.
There are much better books on antennas and propagation out there.
I just bought this one as a requirement for my class, and I ended up reading other books to cover the missing spots.
