Review: Great text book! All CIS 1 teachers should use this book. It covers all the basics, doesn't intimidate (the computer does enough of that), and doesn't treat the beginner like a 'dummie'. Chapter by chapter, through various exercises, this book teaches the 4 basic functions of Desktop Computing - wordprocessing - graphics (painting/drawing) - database - spreadsheet. The final chapters tie all functions together into one document. VERY USEFUL.
