Summary: It's A Breeze
Review: I am already quite experienced with Word and Excel and I wanted to learn the rest of the package. This book assumes that you know absolutely NOTHING about any of the MS Office applications. For the first few chapters it walks you through everything from opening and saving files to using the many formatting features. (I did every single exercise they explained and collectively it took me less than 12 hours to cover the first 3 chapters completely. I did learn new things relating to only PowerPoint.) I love the fact that the book is designed so that an experienced MS Office user can easily pick out the exercise information by skimming and skipping instead of having to read the entire text. As the chapters advance, the skill levels increase and there is less "basic" information to cover.
I never thought I could learn to utilize such a powerful program as PowerPoint but I was wrong. I recommend this book, and it's series, to anyone who wants to learn the MS Office applications but thinks it's too hard. This is an excellent book for them! I also recommend this book to anyone that is relatively familiar (but not an expert) with MS Office. The first few chapters will be slow going, but don't skip them, skim them. Do all of the exercises. You'll be surprised at how fast you learn to use PowerPoint.
