Summary: Who knew llama herding was so complicated?
Review: I found this book to be highly informative. It is immediately obvious that the author was not taking himself seriously, and I'm not referring to just the title. From the writing approach I could tell that the author knew what he was talking about. There are some great tips and tricks contained within that should benefit anyone considering the idea of becoming a web designer, developer, or anything in between.

I would not recommend the book for anyone who is already affluent in the field. The first few chapters cover the basics and the author spends more time in them trying to decide if he wants to become a comedian rather than write a book about web design. But hey, some of the jokes are actually funny.

It picks up in the later chapters when it actually delves into the logistics of what is involved for aspiring designers. It covers topics from building your portfolio to where you can find work (web sites to design that is), which is exactly what "I" wanted. If you want to learn about HTML and the technical aspects of building web sites: this is not the book for you. If you already know the technical aspects of building web sites and want a good laid-back place to start learning how to apply them and make a carrier out of it: this IS the book for you.
