Review: The entire Against the Clock Series is a must for anyone learning digital graphic design. This is a workbook that will take you through the steps and the CD is filled with a collection of files used to construct each of the various exercises. This book and all of the Against the Clock Series are 'cross-platform'. The only problem I have found is that the books have been written by a Macintosh user and occasionally a certain step will not make sense because of different key functions between the two platforms. This is a minor inconvenience considering the amount of material covered and your level of confidence in knowing the software once you've completed the projects.
