Rating: Summary: General Overview of the Registry... leaves you wanting more. Review: Book wasn't too entertaining. Was very plain and presented everything as it is like an owner's manual. But had some good information in it such as modifying the start menu, changing the window behavior, etc.. Recommended for those who like a reference book that reads like a how-to book.
Rating: Summary: General Overview of the Registry... leaves you wanting more. Review: This book is great for the beginner computer user as well as anyone who has found themselves wondering what the registry does and how it is organized. The book goes through several adjustments you can make yourself to gain a bit of confidence in the registry edits.
Rating: Summary: Definitely add this to your collection Review: When it comes to books on the registry, I have them all. And this one is the second most often used book in the collection. It's great as a "starter" book and have a pretty decent collection of common registry entries.Like the other registry books I've reviewed, this one doesn't go far enough on listing common entries. But for the price, it's a must buy. A CDROM with programs and a comprehensive list of common entries would make this book a "10".
