Summary: So pathetic that it's not even funny anymore. >_<
Review: Alright, first of all, I'm a Christian AND I like Pokemon. Secondly, I admire the great imaginations of everyone who works hard at Nintendo, which means I don't appreciate this mad vendetta against Nintendo's truly innovative videogame series, Pokemon. The Christian school I attend doesn't think Pokemon is "evil" or those other cheap titles you label it, and when I showed them a printed out version of the "positive" reviews for this "book", they practically burst into a huge frenzy of laughter. I mean, c'mon, you guys are saying that something made by NINTENDO, the same people who made Super Mario Bros., is evil! The concept of it is funny all in itself... :P
(Unless you think Mario is another child-possesing thing, too)
I know that you anti-Pokemon(more like "anti-Nintendo") "Christians" won't agree with me, but parents, PLEASE just make your own choices; don't let any money consuming book do it for you.(If this book even got much to start with) God gave the people at Nintendo great imaginations, and yet few people dislike their innovative products. But don't worry, judging from Nintendo's track record with their videogame franchises, Pokemon WON'T be going away anytime soon; you can count on that. :)

Summary: Buying and Seling the Souls of our Children
Review: As an architect with 6 years of graduate education, I have spent years studying the symbols created in the things we design, write and discuss. John Paul Jackson has exposed the demonic rituals that far eastern (and American!) cultures have allowed into our everyday life. Hollywood is also packaging this myth that is so bad for our children (and our adults!) I am ordering 25 copies of this book for all of my friends with children, because it is one of the ten best books I have ever read on how to discern what our children are being fed by society! The people who don't like this book need to open their eyes! Very well written and documented.

Summary: Pokemon is not alone. Stich, is not of God either
Review: I look for Pokemon books and this is what I find? Puh-lease! I am a Pokemon fan but I am also a Christ following Christian and this looks like another book to tell parents that Pokemon is evil. Balogna. And for those of you who like this book, get a life and don't waste your money on this garbage. I am going to say something to all Pokemon fans and Christians. Pokemon is NOT evil. It is a friendly game that teaches kids that violence, stealing, and harmful tricks are very bad things. It also teaches kids that friendship and loyalty are important. The writer of this book is entitled to his or her own opinion but I don't believe a word of it. In other words, If you do not own this book, DON'T GET IT! If you do own it, throw it away.

Summary: Indispensable and eye-opening book!
Review: I read the entire book the same day I received it. As a Christian parent, I found the information in this book to be invaluable. It is a book of integrity, substantiated by the Word of God. The author has indeed done his research well and this book clearly reveals the dangers of participating in Pokemon. To quote the author, "If we love God we prove our devotion by being obedient to His commandments" (John 14:15) Games like Pokemon, books like Harry Potter and TV programs like Sabrina the Teenage Witch all desensitize us to witchcraft and the occult making them seem like harmless entertainment. The Bible tells us clearly to "have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11) Thank you John Paul Jackson for exposing the darkness of Pokemon and other games like it!

Summary: This Book is a Failure in All Respects
Review: I really cannot believe this book. I actually read the book, just so that I could make a valid point on all the websites that I besmirch Jackson and his literature. I want all the promoters of this book, including the author himself, to realize that Pokemon and Harry Potter are the manifestations of modern day pop culture. Pop culture is extremely healthy, and the author himself once lived in a time where pop culture surrounded him. What is funny about this is that the auther is not an opponent of the same culture he indulged in some time ago. He seems to believe that the late 1990's and the early 21st century are different from when he was a child. This is entirely false. I think I speak for all of my generation when I say we are proud of the choices we make, we are proud of the companies and products we support, and we are proud of the entertainment we indulge in. I am seventeen years old and have lived through much of the culture Jackson so detests. The world we live in is built around the accumulation of capital and the thriving of business. Jackson's book itself is a model of modern day capitalism, he is marketing this book to you to accumulate wealth for himself. In the same way, businesses such as Nintendo and authors, such as J.K. Rowling and Jackson, market their products to make their standard of living better. If this is such a crime, then I think Jackson should take his own book off the market. To all those who have read this book and believe in it, you are wasting your time. Your children will all grow up to be healthy human beings with the intent of making their lives better. In the same way that adults today relish their childhood memories, their children will someday relish the entertainment the received throughout their childhood. Thank you for reading.

Summary: This Book is a Failure in All Respects
Review: If it were up to me, I wouldn't have given it a star at all. Where is there evil in Pokemon? Can someone tell me?

Each episode of the television show has a message, Ash has a dream to strive to be the best in what he loves to do. That's a positive message if I've ever heard one.

Take for instance, this one episode which showed that everybody in the "pokemon" universe were being watched by the three legendary Pokemon for when humans and Pokemon. Humans and Animals, work and co-exist as one, if that isn't a good thing or a positive message, then I don't know what is.

You tell us to open our eyes ... well open yours.

( Little edit: LILO AND STITCH?! ... Geez. You people. Attack something that deserves it. )

Summary: Right...
Review: Sort of sad when an author is nonsensically threatened by a succesful toy franchise, don't you think?

Anything popular with children seems to be automatically labled as 'evil' nowadays by these types.

Ignore this book completey, not worth your or anybody's time.
