Review: As an MCSE for over two years, I have read countless other texts on NT Server with much disappointment. After flipping through this book the first few minutes after receiving it, I knew this was the one I had been looking for. It covers pretty much everything I cared to know about and is probably the last book I'll buy on NT Server 4. Thank you Dr. Siyan!!!

Summary: If you're looking for a one-stop shop, here it is.
Review: Despite what other reviewers have said, I felt riped off after paying for this book. The Guy's a Novell fundi and dosen't seem to like NT. Topics covered are not complete and where they are covered it seems to stop short of providing the detail I've needed to solve particular problems.

I have read it cover to cover - there are masses of sections which have simply been cut & re-pasted - often without changing all sentences in the the re-pasted text for the next topic. Plenty of typo's and diagrams in the wrong place. Makes getting the info tedious.

Good discussion of the ISO Network layers in the appendix

Review: The Winsows NT Server Professional Reference by Dr. Siyan is the most complete NT book, I have ever read. I still own the original 1995 "dog eared" copyright at my desk. I now also own the latest release and highly anticipate the Win2000 version of this Professional Reference.
