Summary: The Best HTML Guide for the Beginner
Review: I bought htis book because...I needed something to brush up on HTML with. I read it cover to cover in about a day and started coding immediately. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants/needs to learn HTML fast! I loved it and think it was worth every penny!

Summary: Essential - More information than 400 page rivals
Review: Short and Sweet - not artistic (you apple kids like Killer Sites and that's... OK!)

I'd like to see another 30% chopped and include the TCP/IP protocols and history. Whose got time for the fluff?

Summary: Great Primer for the beginner!
Review: This is a great book for someone who wants to get their feet wet in the world of HTML. I liked it because it keeps the approach to webpage design simple and to the point. You can get a basic webpage up and running in no time. You won't get all the questions answered from this book, but you'll get the most important ones answered.

The book is great in that it discusses the different types of layouts and tools to use with webpages (i.e. frames, tables, style sheets). However, I was a little disappointed not to see a quick reference card for HTML Tags. Other than that, this book is a great tool that I still use as a reference when I want to find something quickly.
