Summary: The first edition was very concise and helpful
Review: The Booknews review is very uninformed. One can not do computer graphics without matrix algebra. If you just wantto draw things on your screen this is not the book for you. If, however you need to learn about a specific aspect of fundamental graphics programming this is a book to consider.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The examples work!
Review: This book has useable examples and provides understandable
and concise explanations of the complex subject of 3D
computer graphics.

Yes this book won't choke a horse, but just because it is
concise does not mean that it isn't a good 3D computer graphics
book.

The choice of plainly written C makes the examples easy
to translate into other languages such as Java or Perl.
