Rating: Summary: Why not use the help and explore the menu system ? Review: Quite simply, I feel I wasted my money on this book.As an experienced developer but new to JBuilder, I was confronted by the JBuilder environment on starting a new job. It was installed without the help files and so I thought I would do two things, firstly purchase a tutorial, secondly get an evaluation copy of JBuilder to install at home that would have help files included. Even before the evaluation copy had arrived, and so working without the help files available, I don't think there was anything in this book that I did not work out first by just navigating around the JBuilder menu system and trying things out. In all seriousness, I cannot imagine this book being of value to anybody that has access to JBuilder, a computer and a power supply. It is aimed at students rather than working professionals. Given that most students are short of cash I would say to them - don't spend what little cash you have on this book. Install JBuilder and work through the menus and the help files instead.
