Review: It has many practical examples including database access, DBGrid. It explans many commonly-use VB tools clearly.

The layout of content is very friendly and colorful. It is better than other colorful VB books which have many fantastic layout.

I would recommend this book to the VB beginners who like to read more pictures.

Review: This book is very thorough and user friendly. It brings you through detailed steps and talks a lot about design, which is really helpful in programming. Then it has questions and exercises that encourages you to think for yourself. I haven't gone through the whole book yet but I have come to the trouble of recommending this book because it is worth it. (I have read lots of Java programing book but none of their style is as user friendly as this book).
