Rating: Summary: towards a computer based story generation Review: This book presents a nice approach to story generation using a problem solving technique. Even though Turner suggests that stories generated by this approach seem to imply creative, we think that they do not. However, the question of creativity, at this point, is irrelevant. What is relavent is that the model does tell stories that seem good enough to read. Granted that the stories generated using this approach cannot compare to Shakespearian or even modern playwriters' stories in terms of quality. It is, nevertheless, a start towards a computer based story generator.
