Summary: The missing link!
Review: I am the primary co-author of this book, and don't know why I'm no longer listed as an author for it. But anyway, I still hear from people that our book is the best book they ever had for comprehensive Clipper programming, and that it was also a great introduction for them to OOP.

Summary: My favorite Clipper book
Review: I used to do a lot of Clipper programming in the late 80s and early 90s, and I have a LOT of Clipper books in my library. This book was always my favorite of them all. Mike was much more to the point than the ever present Stephen Straley, whose books got more and more bloated for every new one he wrote.

In fact, though it has been several years since I read it, it has always stood out in my mind as one of the best computer books I have read, and it was always the one I kept returning to when I needed help in my programming.

Summary: What a Wonderful Book! :-)
Review: Well...since I am the main author, I guess I'm a little biased. :-)

My goal when we wrote the book was to write the "K&R" for the Clipper language. Of course, few people are developing for DOS today, but it you are and you want to know the intimate details of how the Clipper language works, consider picking up a copy.

If you have a question for me (though I can't remember much about Clipper today since I've not used for over 6 years), feel free to email me at mikeschinkel@hotmail.com.
