Review: I liked the book since it has depth, simplicity, and good illustrations. The writing style is clear. The chapters on magnetic recording and magneto-optical recording were the most interesting to me. The index and glossary are good too. I think, the chapter on data loss and recovery should have more material. Again, I liked the book for covering all important subjects, including SAN, NAS, Flash, RAID, etc.
