Review: As a real beginner to Photoshop, I've had some disappointing experiences with the so-called "easy" guide to the program. The Dummies series were too wordy and the Visual Quick Guide was too confusing for your first step. This book offers something in-between and the advantages of both.Part 1 contains Techniques and Part 2 has Projects where you can actually learn to apply the techniques. The book walks you through the features in a simple and clear manner yet with enough explanations.This is a great book for starters.

Summary: Sweet Book on Photoshop
Review: The book brings it all home. It has a dedicated center section with photo glossy pictures of the final projects you create step by step through the book. It also teaches some very essential tricks on photo retouching, text manipulation and layers. This book deepened my understanding of Photoshop considerably. I owe these guys a lot. The book can also be read in a non-linear fashion with great results.
