Review: As the author, I am prejudiced, but this new version offers most all the information of the previous books along with 1/3 more material on networking and serial communication. It has been completely revised to begin with the basics of C programming while emphasizing modular programming and realtime concepts. Based on the $99 target development kits (complete with emulator and Keil compiler) from Silicon Labs, this book provides a perfect way to get started or expand your skills in embedded microcontroller development.
