Summary: An Up to Date, Concise Book with Focus on Understanding
Review: I found this book to be very effective in presenting the key concepts and linking them to specfic implementations in cdma2000 standards. The text is concise and to the point and chapters are organized logically and consistent with technology evolution.
Also this is the only book I found that extensively talks about EV-DV (Release D) and EV-DO Rev.0/A. The last chapters on link budget and network dimensioining is also very intresting and helpful from practical network design considerations.
Althrough I am using this book as a reference at work, I know that some universities have also adopted this book as a reference or text books for CDMA/3G courses.
