Rating: Summary: Way of Delphi is a Classic Review: I feel a little silly commenting on a book that was published in 1996 and is now listed as out-of-print. However, I just could not let stand, unchallenged, one negative "Way of Delphi" (WoD) review.I read this book in 1996. When I came across the negative WoD review, I was actually searching for books written by Entsminger because I of my positive experience in 1996 with WoD. WoD is a must-read for anyone programming professionally in Delphi. The book contains a wealth of information about how to organize a Delphi program. Entsminger, the author, has been part of the programming scene for decades. The WoD reader will benefit from those years. Although I'm no longer programming in Delphi, just scanning the book now, I feel the urge to re-read it.

Rating: Summary: Not a very good book for a beginner or expert Review: This book is filled with coding examples that do not show the reader how to use the power of Delphi. To use Delphi's power and ease of use, you should use Delphi's components, not write a lot of obscure pascal code. I'm sorry to say that this book is not very useful in teaching a newcomer how to use Delphi, and it it not useful at all for the experienced programmer.
