Summary: Disappointing
Review: This book completely overlooks some of the most exciting new features of TS3, such as VRML, object physics such as wind, gravity, and density, as well as object collision. Seems like it was written prematurely, and well in advance of the product release.

Summary: A great, fun source of information for 3D Graphics!
Review: This book is a must-have for both those interested in getting started in 3D graphics modeling/animation, or those trueSpace addicts who want to sharpen their skills!
E.W.'s great personality and techniques really shine through.. It honestly helps make it quite easy to learn. A great accomplishment for a subject that many people may initially think is beyond their abilities. I believe this is why many schools getting started in 3D modeling & animation classes are grabbing this book as "standard issue"..
If 3D is not new to you, you'll appreciate the in-depth descriptions of the tools and great real-world examples. The examples, the color section, and the additional "goodies" on the CD are very motivational and productive!
Using this book and trueSpace3 will let you get started in 3D today

Summary: Merely another Truespace Manual
Review: This book is claimed to be for dummies, but even at this level, many of the ideas in Truespace 3 are presented poorly - i.e. it is just DESCRIPTION of the tools and offer no ideas in how to APPLY them. There is just no point in buying a manual which you already have. I strongly recommend Truespace 2 Bible - which is also for 'dummies' but explores many of the tools with EXAMPLES and ILLUSTRATIONS.

Summary: Great resource for a good program
Review: This book pulls off the balance between the beginner and the expert, straight forward, light hearted, not too basic, yet you don't have to be a physics major to understand it. The examples are well chosen and real world, and gently takes you deeper into this fun but complicated world of 3D graphics. Now that I have read it, it sits right beside my monitor as a reference tool. The CD is filled with useful and up to date tools, as well as some fabulous examples that we can all aspire to create.

Summary: Good book for tS3 beginners
Review: This is a perfect book for anyone just beginning to learn tS3. It should have included coverage of tS3's powerful physical simulation features, but what the hey. Any problems with the book are more than offset by the spectacular FIGURE 6 in the color section.

Summary: A great book from one of the Great Artist on the tS Mailing
Review: This is one of the best books that I own. It is clear and concise concerning the in and outs of trueSpace 3. I use it daily to help me use and understand tS3. I would recommend this for the "beginner" to the "expert" who uses trueSpace 3 to create stunning graphics or even VRML worlds. This is A MUST HAVE book.

Summary: A "Must Have" for trueSpace3 users (even the experienced)
Review: While this book could be construed as a "beginners" book, even experienced ts3 users will be saying 'so that's how that works' many times. This book fills in the (very large) gaps that Caligari left out in their user manual with excellent real world examples. New ts3 users will be rewarded with near instant gratification while learning the complexities of 3D modeling. Hopefully this book will be updated in the future to include the physics simulation functions and the new keyframe editor. Well done, Dub!

Summary: WT*????
Review: Why on EARTH IS THE BOOK $80?? It must be a mistake. Are the pages gold leaf instead of paper???
