Summary: A must book for programmers!
Review: This book is excellent. The topics have discussed in detail and are made very easy even for a beginner.

The book should come in a hard cover as it is one of those books that you would not like to give as a loaner to anyone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: If you program in Oracle PL/SQL.. this book is a MUST HAVE
Review: This book should be standard for computer programming language books. I have gone to several times and it has never failed me. It has very clear explanations and examples which almost write out the code for you. I carry it everywhere. It is the sole Oracle PL/SQL programming reference I use.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Book
Review: This is by far the most complete and best book in the market. if you are serious about learning PL/SQL then this is the book. Just go through the book and you can call yourself a good PL/SQL programmer.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An Excellent Book
Review: This is definitely an excellent book. No one should rank it less than 5 stars just because it was published in 1996. Please do some research before talk. Actually, Scott Urman has wrote a book, "Oracle8 PL/SQL Programming", which was published in 1997. Buy this one if you want to learn PL/SQL 8.0.

Summary: A must have for creating functions, procedures and triggers
Review: This is part of the Oracle-Press series and, like nearly all the books Oracle publishes, it is very well executed. The information you need is all here and all accessible. Great sections on subjects like tuning and debugging help set this book apart from its peers. And a comprehensive index makes this an effective reference. It's one of the four books stacked next to my keyboard.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must buy for Oracle knowledge
Review: Well organized, clear, logical, and comprehensive. A gold mine of information. Simple definitions of terms, and thorough explainations of processes.
