Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Comprehensive and easy to understand. Great Book!
Review: One of the best written computer oriented books I have ever read. Covers all desired material, however you may want to buy an exam cram or something of that nature to ressaure those old DOS and Windows 3.1 skills.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A wonderful book for the A+ certification
Review: This is a wonderfully-written book for the A+ exam. It is well written easy to read. I recommend it both for experienced technicians and beginners. The writing style makes tough concepts easy to understand for beginners, and expecrienced techies won't be bored to tears reading about the concepts you already know! Just for the record, I got 97 Dos/Windows and 90 core with 1 year experience and this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Well-written and informative. But buggy.
Review: The "A+ Certification Exam Guide" is a fairly comprehensive information resource, but falls slightly short as a study guide due to its lack of practice questions and chapter summaries. It has both genuinely interesting information for experienced techs and cutesy (but not patronizing) examples/graphics for the newbies. You really can't go wrong with this book, although Mr. Myers needs to hire a good proofreader -- typos are plentiful throughout.

I'd say this book is the cream of the crop, but it wouldn't hurt to supplement it with a dedicated test guide. I got a 89/87 using this book and my professional experience. Boy, do A+ exams have some idiotic questions on them or what.. way out of left field..

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The "all in one" reference for anyone wanting A+ cert.
Review: Probably one of the best books for getting your A+ certification! I highly recommend this book. Get the CD-ROM with it, too. :-) I'm certified; why aren't you?

Summary: Must-Have for A+ Wanna-Bes
Review: Meyers has put together a very comprehensive, in-depth resource for those people who are preparing for their A+ exams. This book is pretty easy to read and covers basically everything you need to know to pass your exams.

We did have a couple of slight problems with the book. First, it includes no chapter-ending questions. Second, there were some misspellings throughout the book. Besides those issues, we had no other problems with the book. It gets our nod as an APlusTutor.com Recommended Book.

Summary: Good book!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Odesis
Review: With this book anyone can pass the exams. It really explain the hardware part of the exam. The concepts are easy to understand. One thing I wish Michael Meyers should have done is written summray at end of each chapter before moving to the next chapter and should have written some questions. Windows chapter definately need lots of work but hey there is not perfect book out there.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: very easy explained
Review: I am not done with the book as of yet but what I have read so far has been very well explained in detail and is very easy to understand even for someone with little knowledge of pc's.
