Review: This book touches several aspects of Weblogic administration. But MOST of the topics are very shallow at best. There are hardly any practical insights, pitfalls, etc.

This book is good for anyone who want to know WLS admin stuff over a weekend. For a real admins, it falls well below the mark. I was disppointed that Performance Tuning chapter was hardly anything useful.

However, this is a good book for anyone preparing for interviews. It gives a quick guided tour.

Review: This is most early books on WebLogic Server 7 Administration that one can find and is complete guide covering each aspect of WebLogic Server Administration.

The steps are very clearly guiding one, helps us carry out and learn administrative activities with WebLogic Server a lot ease.

The examples/steps are thorough helping myself learn install, configure, troubleshoot WebLogic Server on various Operating platforms.
