Rating: Summary: Perfectly Clear View of PeopleSoft Review: This book gives 5000 miles view all right, but the view allows me to see everything in the PeopleSoft environment very clearly. This is a great text as I can view all of the underlying concepts prevalent within the PeopleSoft environment. I was able to understand how the Integration Tools works efficiently with my own business systems. If you are looking for a good book, then you will like this one. I sure did.
Rating: Summary: Consultant-Buyer Beware!! Review: This is not a technical reference by any means. My biggest complaint is the organization of the material...it is a hodge-podge of information, most of which is geared to the non-technical manager who may be trying to justify a purchase of PeopleSoft for integration purposes. Some chapters get more technical but are confusing, lack examples and useful diagrams. The whole book feels 'rushed', and the format is far from elegant. There are several grammatical errors and typos too. For fifty bucks, I'd spend my money elsewhere.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Book Review: This is, by far, the best PeopleSoft book on the market. I have tried several administrator handbooks, however none of them comare in the slightest to this book. As far as ERP is concerned, the author really knows his business.
