Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Must Have Book for Software Engineering
Review: Dan and Rene have done an excellent job of recording their practical work experience in a concise form. They share their understanding of applying the UML in specifying requirements. They use many examples to illustrate their points, and include the complete specifications for a change management system so the reader can study a system in detail. This not a book on theory, but rather is an excellent practical application of the UML. I have worked with the authors for years, and cannot say enough about their knowledge and abilities. If you are interested in good requirements, the UML, or software engineering, this is a must-have book.
