Summary: The Best Out There
Review: Only 1/3 the way through, but wanted to write this before someone wastes money on another book! None of the current crop of books on this subject seem as complete and well-written. A good low fluff tutorial. A year from now a more detailed book for programmer's may be available, but for now this is it

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent reading and technical resource guide
Review: Outstanding. This book is not only informative for reading purposes, it also serves as an excellent technical reference for items that Microsoft doesn't always tell you about. Critical to all my ASP development.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What else can one ask for?
Review: Packed with information with clear straight forward examples. Doesn't insult the reader with background information on the platform or the Internet Cut's right into code! A must read. Can't wait for Part 2 to get delivered.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: If you don't know by now, this is the ONLY ASP book you NEED
Review: The book was great and everything worked well. You must buy this book if you're just starting ASP work. My only negative statement was the Index Server sampl app. It was based on an older version than we were currently using, so it was not of any use.
I look forward to the next edition, which hopefully addresses all the issues of IIS 4.0 and Index Server.

Summary: Very Useful so far in learning to tie HTML to ASP w/vbscript
Review: The short time I have been using this book I find that I can find very useful information for what I need to do with ASP. Very good examples. Very well layed out book. The number of yellow stickies shows me that I have found useful and specific examples relevant to my needs. The book uses VBScript which is just what I want. Even walks you through creating a COM component.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This book is a must for serious ASP programmer or even for beginner. It would be great if the authors could write another advanced ASP book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: My ASP bible!
Review: This book is an excellent reference for the Visual Basic programmer who is moving to ASP/VBScript. Excellent application examples and references. Plus the Wrox Web site provides excellent sample code and support.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Great for those who Understand the basics of ASP already
Review: This book is not for beginners. Get Beginners Active Server pages if you are new to this area. This book goes into some ASP examples for professionals but also touches on areas such as Transactions, Interdev and has some great case studies. Maybe not your first book but one definitely to come back to once you have started.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Complete Guide to ASP
Review: This book is the one you must have. The book assumes you have previous knowledge of VBScript. However, it is an excellent book both as a study material and as a reference. There are other books I have read on ASP, but none are as detailed as this. Good work Alex. - Manohar Kamath

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A book worth buying.
Review: This book must be the best book on ASP available today. Though might not be suitable for those without programming experience, this book gives a strong background and foundation in programming Web application using ASP. I have read some other ASP books but nothing comes close. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in learning ASP.
