Summary: Very Informative, Experts Handbook
Review: A must read for everybody. I didn't like the idea of mining data before reading this book but I changed my mind very quickly. Though this book is mostly restricted to using screen scraping as a data mining tool, the depth and outright aggressiveness with which the techniques are described shows that these things are more reliable than we ever thought. It is not just searching for a needle in a haystack from 1000 miles away, after going through the book again and again, it is more like accurately pinpointing where that needle is and even getting its length back.

Summary: Lots of mistakes in the text.
Review: Well, this would be good if it didn't have so many mistakes in it. This is very makes it very annoying! Also, the links contained for the samples don't work - so you end up having to try and correct the mistakes in the e-book before you see any results. My guess is that the author had it all working and some where along the way the document had some major errors put into it.If you have purchased it and everything seemed fine then add a review comment - cos I want to know if I the only one with a pdf with lots of mistakes in it, and no samples to download to help!
