Rating: Summary: Great beginner's guide Review: This book is a great place to start for those who are unfamiliar with Golive. There are a few things that may be of interest to the intermediate user. Probably nothing of interest to the expert. Overall, it is well written, however I found some disparity between what is shown in the book and what is reality. Specifically, when dealing with Quicktime elements.
Rating: Summary: Should have been included with the software Review: This is another great book from Adobe's Classroom in a book series. Frankly the tutorial that came with the GoLive software is pretty poor. This book really walked me from knowing practically nothing about GoLive to really feeling that I have a good grasp of this very powerful software. Well worth it if you want to get started quickly with this software. The 'Classroom' series of books are good because they teach you by having you do tasks instead of just reading about them.
Rating: Summary: Very good intro to Adobe GoLive Review: This is the book that Adobe Systems should have included with the software - it makes the original 800-page manual make sense.GET IT!
Rating: Summary: Only so-so Review: This is the third Adobe 'Classroom in a book' book I have purchased, and the worst. I have the Windows version, but the book seems more oriented towards a Mac. This seems to have created a problem - not every step is correct. SUGGESTION TO ADOBE - rewrite two books - one each for Windows and Mac, double-check all steps, and make it less of a beginner only book. . .
Rating: Summary: adobe go live 4 calssroom in a book Review: Waste of money....anyone can do this book in a day. The book constantly keeps telling you to read chapters in the user manual for information.A lot of info not covered. This book is only good for the most basic site.I want my money back. P.s chapters in the book can be found on the adobe site.
