Summary: Dry, poorly plotted out and thoroughly obtuse
Review: Although I'm certain that this book has all the information about Internet protocols you could ask for, this book seems designed to be read under fluorescent light, preferably near a cold window in a damp room. Acronyms are bandied about so quickly that only the truly perverse could grasp this quickly. Internet protocols are a challenging subject but that doesn't mean a book about them should be dense.

Review: This book is a good introduction into the underlying technologies for Voice-Over-IP and the H.323 protocol. Nice diagrams. For in-depths details on protocol implementations you might need additional literature.
