Summary: I agree...FINALLY!
Review: This book was NOT written for computer geeks!!! If you like action script and tell targeting, get the hell off this page. This book was written by a guy who knows ANIMATION to an absolute tee. His appliation to the craft in Macromedia Flash is incomparable. A true animator would purchase this book whereas...someone who wants to make "pretty artwork move around" should buy Mark Clarkson's book. Must admit, saw the author of this book, Corsaro, speaking in San Antonio, funny stuff, and he definetly hits home on the animation topics & principles.

Summary: Impressive
Review: This is a great book for all of us techie guys using flash. It really shows how to add that extra professional touch that can only come from an artistic perspective. Easy to understand, informative, and entertaining, this book is a great asset to anyone using Flash.

Summary: Not what I expected
Review: This is an excellent guide for traditional animators who want to do animation in Flash. You have to know the basics of using Flash, though. There are no codes and actionscripting to write here, just pure animation. This book will show you how to do your animation scenes entirely in Flash. There is also a section at the end of the book on how to publish your Flash movie for TV broadcasting. For animators who wants to try "paper-free" animation, Flash is the way to go. And there is no other resource out there more reliable than this book.

Summary: The BEST on the market!
Review: This is by far the best book on the market for anyone interested in using Flash as an animation tool. It is superbly written BY an animator, FOR animators!!! Final, a book that cuts throught the technical mumbo-jumbo and gets to the heart of what artists, not programmers, need to know. The author obviously has a deep understanding of animation as an Art form and relays tips and tricks on how to use Flash for what it is... a FANTASTIC tool for animators!

The book is filled with amazing artwork and clear illustrations (not to mention great characters!) I have not seen a book out there that can compare.

From the computer savy to the traditionalist, if you are an animator this book is an absolute MUST!
