Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A good guide for beginning Imac users
Review: The Imac for Dummies by Jennifer Watson is a very useful guide for amature Imac users. The insturctions are so easy to follow that even those intimidated by computers are encouraged when techniques are easily applied. This quick reference covers a wide range of topics. From basic instruction on desk top/home base use, mastering files, and discs, to connecting to the Internet, sending and receiving faxes and e-mails, and editing videos and exporting movies. It also includes a handy glossary of key terms.

I gave this book a five star rating because it fullfilled my needs as a beginning Imac user. It's a great guide for students of various ages. A wonderful supplement to technology curriculum. Personally, it helped me as I'm presently taking a fast pased computer-based education course. I use this book intermitently when I work on my own, at my own speed. I get quick, easy answers to questions I have about the Imac. This is a great start up book for those, who like myself, are new to the Imac. Once you feel comfortable with the Imac, this books serves as an excellent reference guide. I was able to help my boyfriend send a fax with his Imac. The book is small, easy to carry, and competitively priced. I highly recommend it.
