Review: A lot of Qbasic books cover a lot of program structure and demonstrate that structure without first explaining the code thats in them. Qbasic by Example focuses on teaching you the code. All exhamples are simple and easy to follow. You can jump to any chapter and learn a command or keyword that you need without being lost. This is an excellent book. I use it as a reference manual.

Review: After signing up for a QBasic course at the local college, I discovered that my $57 textbook was pitifully inadequate, difficult to read, and even more difficult to understand. I went online to find another basic text and came across QBasic by Example by Perry. Although I consider myself above average relative to PC software and hardware troubleshooting, and being a network administrator, I knew nothing about programming so Perry's text was an excellent place to start. PC review is a bit simplistic but once into programming this is an excellent step-by-step how-to for those who have to get through BASIC in order to move on to Visual Basic. Layout is well-defined, easy to read and, for those who need to watch their $, the price was right, way less than half of what I paid for my required overpriced white elephant.

It really sure help me to understand about Qbasic and its powerful function. I learned alot from this book. If you are new to Qbasic, I recommend this excellent book to you. It will train you to become master in Qbasic.

Review: I was a decent basic programmer and after reading it I was a great basic programmer. Gives only the useful info that most want to know. It's great.
