Summary: just buy this book
Review: Trust me it's that good. whether you are just learning photoshop or using it everyday, this is a book you will most likely need. I have a quite a collection of photoshop books and by far this is one of the best I have.
Besides tons of tutorials and detailed coverage of photoshop tools, you'll learn tips and techniques you won't find it in any book. One of the best features in the book is the authors show you real world examples done by photoshop pros and give you detailed description of how it's done. I've learned a lot by just skimming through this book.
If you have to buy one book on photoshop, make it this one.

Summary: NOT for the beginner
Review: Very nice book but not for the beginners. The book assumes that you know where all the tools are and how to perform certain tasks. For a beginner like me I need a book that shows step by step with pictures how to perform the tasks... Other than that a good book for the experts...

Summary: The Bible of Photoshop: no more, no less...
Review: When I first started using more seriously Adobe Photoshop, I went shopping for a book which I could have next to me when I had a challenge I could not find my way out of. After a few hours browsing through the tons of options out there for books on the topic, I came to the conclusion that this book had it all: well laid out, comprehensive, self-explanatory, printed in color... you name it! After I checked with some designers friend I have, they confirmed my choice: WOW! is the book of choice to cover all Photoshop stuff you can think of -web, print, etc.
