Rating: Summary: Probably better than a 3 Review: I only rated it a 3 because I haven't checked out the whole book yet. I've seen Yoshi on TSS and he doesn't strike me as a person who want's you think he's smarter than he is. He knows what he knows and is willing to share it unlike a lot of the "why should I tell you" jerknerds I met in college.Reviews here should be constructive criticizm not maliscious flaming and should be aimed at the product not other peoples opinions or other people for that matter. Having said that I will now contradict myself by saying. Guy's like "Nathan",or is it Natan, don't belong here. Natan completely lost any and all credibility, with me at least, when he professed to be some kind of gangster lingo expert. I bet he's caucasian too. Yoshi's mods aren't the most outrageous but they're ok, and he's inspired me to do a few of my own, passe' as they may be. Gotta start somewhere. More power to ya Yoshi. Let's see your mod book "Natan".
Rating: Summary: Hi everybody! Review: I thot this book was alright. All of the information was incorrect. Yoshi is the biggest nerd on the planet. Correction, he thinks he is smart, but he is stupid. I HATED THIS BOOK, THIS BUK LET THE FIREZ COMENZ!!!!!
Rating: Summary: A good buy Review: To the first reviewer, I'm sorry, but you sound like an idiot. This book is good, but it doesn't really have much in it (as far as Yoshi's personal mods) that can't be found on the TechTV website. It does have some useful information for beggining modders, such as the proper tools to buy and how to set up a workshop. There is also a large section devoted to other people's mods that Yoshi liked. All in all, it's a good pick up.
Rating: Summary: what up William Review: William are you white? i thought so. I am not white. why are you racist? that is horrible you should be ashamed with yourself. The book was not helpful to me in that when i tried the stuff it screwed my computer up. You want my book? I'll give you my book. Anyways lets stop insulting my EXCELLENT reviews and get to the book... If you are Yoshi you'll know how to do the stuff but for the average joe who wants to have a cool looking computer it sucks. thank you and leave a normal review.
Rating: Summary: Good book on basic modding Review: Yoshi does a great job detailing how modding is done and what you can do with a little creativity, imagination & the right tools. "Mod Mania" can stand alone-- it's not just a companion to his show or website, but in conjunction with both you will get more than a healthy lesson in computer modding.
