Review: I have used many beginner-to-intermediate books on Java, but this has always been the best one I could find as a reference for GUI-related topics. It has excellent, practical examples on layouts, colors, and constructing basic GUIs. It's been the one book that I end up having on my desktop when I start any new GUI.
