Summary: Great book!!
Review: This is a great book to help understand Web Services and .NET applications. The book starts with an introduction into XML, XSLT, DOM and SOAP. After the introduction chapters it dives right into how Web Services and .NET application fit into the real world. The book is loaded with practical information on designing in the .NET world. Unlike most of the books I've read on .NET this one is not going to end up heating my house this winter.
