Review: This should be the "FIRST" book a real DBA reads.
Mike's writing style and command of the subject matter are a great combination. He is able to introduce the topics in a real world way that makes reading enjoyable and learning a pleasure. I recommend this book for every DBA, especially those who find themselves in a Unix environment for the first time and including those who are tasked with passing along information to those new to Unix.
