Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Wonderful Book
Review: This is an amazing book. Initially I was intimidated by the size of the book. But the content is so thoughtfully organized and the language so friendly that reading it was and has been a pleasure. It is reference book every software project manager must have.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Clear, Well Organized, Thorough, Practical
Review: This text is used as the reference book of choice in my company of over 40,000. The authors are known as industry leaders and this is book demonstrates it. Each chapter systematically addresses the software development process, customer relationship management through the change control board, and the organizational culture that surrounds transition to a high performance environment.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Clear, Well Organized, Thorough, Practical
Review: This was a required text in a graduate course I attended. It certainly does cover fundamentals of a software development environment, but much of what was said could have been condensed into a book about one fifth the size. The majority of people in the course felt that way as well.
