Summary: What a waste of paper!!!
Review: This is absolutely the worst For Dummies book I have ever read. What little valuable information there is in this book is lost in random meanderings of B.S. The format is completely scattered and there are few (if any) decent examples of code that a beginner could use to derive any background or understanding of VBA from. Send the money to a charity or burn it at least then you can get a little warmth and light.

Summary: Didn't help me much at all. Shocking.
Review: This is probably one of the worst books I have read dealing with this subject. For a start is no use giving a beginner a little bit of code and saying it fits into a bigger lot of code eg. lots of code starts with ... then some code ending with ... what is a beginner supposed to do with that. The part chapter on passing values to sub routines was bad. I paid AUS$69.95 and feel I wasted my money. I should have returned the book and got my money back.

Summary: Great new edition on VBA!
Review: This new edition covers VBA programming with XML, which was most important to me considering how much Microsoft touted Office 2003's XML usage. I'm using this book to create VBA programs, debug, OOP, etc. The code examples are great too. I've already built several new Office 2003 apps.

Review: Very good self starting book. Considering that I have never written any code before this has been extremely helpful.
