Review: I have bought several reference books for these topics and I always find the answer I'm looking for in the Access97 Developers Handbook. Now I wish I had bought this one first. I would not have needed another book.

Summary: Darn good book choc FULL o stuff
Review: This book has so much stuff in it that even though I rely on maybe 2-3 chapters for some of the apps I made it is FANTABULOUS!The Security chapter (13) is worth it ALONE! And the code they give you (even the real tough stuff if you want to figure it out and tweek it not me I say... heh heh) is so (DARN) useful Excellent reference book, and stuff in there that after owning for 2+ years I have STILL yet to discover...

Summary: Must-Have for Access developers!
Review: This book is the most used in my library! The material is categorized nicely so you can go to what you need to know about easily. The examples are excellent, well written and relevant - not contrived code dealing with purple dinosaurs like some books have. The authors know the situations developers encounter and have great insight into providing the kinds of solutions needed. This is definitely not for a beginning Access user, but if you have to write VBA code to solve a problem this book can help you get it done!

Summary: An excellent tool for all programmers.
Review: This book is for anyone who wants to write good, concise code. The authors clearly explain the code, and in which situations they can be applied usefully. I think that it will also be useful to beginners because it will stop them from developing bad habits from the start. I would reccommend this book to programmers of all levels because the book includes techniques that are both advanced, and very hard to find.

Summary: THE book to get for serious developers
Review: Contrary to other reviews, this book is not that hard to understand. I've only been using Access for a couple months and I find this book extremely useful. It has so many good examples, it's very well written and complete. As long as you're not a total beginner to Access and VB, this is the book you want. I've got lots of other Access books and none even compare.
