Review: Again and again, Ben Forta made incridible book. It is a hand book BUT it covers every thing! If you are a CF programmer then you MUST HAVE a copy.The book arranged in 38 chapters and have a small size. It gives you Forta's power in few days of reading.

Review: An excellent book. I passed the the ColdFusion exam with plenty of points to spare after studying this book for just three weeks. The first printing had quite a few typos...and it is probably not a good place for beginners to start. However, for experienced ColdFusion programmers who are looking for a concise and readable exam preparation study guide ... this is your book!

Summary: A great reference tool/study aid.
Review: Ben Forta definitely hit a home run with this book. I am impressed with how much information was packed into such a small book. I have not taken the CF (ColdFusion) certification test as of yet, but I feel a lot better prepared for it now. The chapters are loaded with good information, and are seriously condensed (no fluff, or unnecessary garbage to increase the number of pages). The quizzes at the end of the chapters are excellent. These questions are by far more difficult than anything else I have seen on CF certifications (i.e. the CF certification web site, and the CF_Buster test prep). In addition, this book is a great reference guide. If you are unsure of how to do something in CF, this book more than likely will tell you how it can be done. This book offers a lot more than I would expect from a book that's under 400 pages. If you want to prepare for the certification test, buy this book; or, if you just want to take your CF knowledge to the next level, buy this book.

Review: Ben Forta has done it again. I used his first two books to learn ColdFusion, and this new certification study guide is sure to be another bestseller and authoritative source for ColdFusion authors. It's packed with examples, easy to understand concepts, and great summary/review sections. A must-read for anyone who wants to be an Allaire Certified ColdFusion developer.

Review: Certified ColdFusion Developer Study Guide by Ben Forta, is a great book for learning/studying Cold Fusion. I have taken the CF Exam twice, and by reading this book, I boosted my score on the second exam by over 20 points. This is a cut-to-the-chase book that tells you what you need to know without all the fluff around it. Not only was the book helpful, but Ben Forta's CF Test Exam ... was also excellent to help in the learning of CF.

Summary: Not just for training exam - Very thorough review of CF
Review: Disclaimer: My brother is one of the co-authors. Having said that, I can also say that I've been developing with CF for four years, and have read most of the books on the topic. I don't have a need for the exam .. nor do I ever intend to take it, but I found this book to be a very thorough, detailed review of ColdFusion. It is certainly not a beginner's guide, as some familiarity with CF is assumed, but it gives better insight into advanced functions of CF (Structures, Associative arrays, etc) than I've read elsewhere, and differences between versions of CF (4.0, 4.5, 4.5.1) are better documented than in Allaire's own documentation. This book is therefore for the intermediate to advanced CF programmer who is looking to build a deep, complete understanding of ColdFusion beyond the tutorial level of many of Ben Forta's other books.
