Summary: Needs editing really Bad - Typos are everywhere!
Review: I have never seen a book with more typos than this one. The errors in the listings and typos on key concepts really make this book a chore to read. I can't recommend this book at all. If you want to learn C++ there are quality books available elsewhere.

Summary: Hmmm! Not too bad
Review: This books starts off very well and covers a great deal. If you are new to c++, however, you will find that the book gets very monotonous as it progresses. It starts killing your moral once you hit arrays.

There are better books out there

Summary: minusoneforediting!
Review: A great book for a beginner and I highly recommend it. I found that the detail in the explanations were clear and the examples were well done. This was mostly and easy read with one exception, the editing in SOME of the examples and explanations were poor and confusing, which left me with only one alternative...I had to figure it out for myself (which was a good lesson in its own). No complaints outside of that.

Summary: A Great book For new Programmers
Review: If you are new to programming and want to start with the basics and work your way through to intermediate then this is for you. And it really does only take 21 days! A great book!

Summary: @@
Review: i've had previous programming experience before reading this book but i knew little about the C++ language. this book was very helpful in teaching me the fundamentals and basic and even some more advanced concepts of the whole c++ programming process. bottom line: if you want to learn the most powerful programming language, and you don't know jack, this is the place to start

Summary: This book does not teach you C++!
Review: If someone can learn C++ in 21 Days, he is either an idiot or dishonest. The author knows anything about C++. The book not only has so many errors, but some basic concept and definition are wrong. If you learn C++ from this book, I will guarantee you that you will never write a program in real life. This book simple wastes you money and time. If you want to learn C++, read "the C++ programming language" by Stroustrup, the creator of C++. After you read that book, you will understand what I said about this book and author.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book, If you want to Game Program Start Here!
Review: This book is very informative. Personally, It took a bit longer than 21 days to finish but if you go over the chapters it gives you all you need to know to become a confident programmer! If you are interested in GAME PROGRAMMING buy this book. C++ can be easy to learn or very difficult. Buy this book if you want to learn it quickly and painlessly.

Summary: Lucid introduction to C++
Review: This is a clear introduction to C++ that introduces important concepts at appropriate times and continuously builds on what has been introduced. Persistence pays off: you will develop a firm foundation for understanding C++. The rest is up to you.

Summary: Starts out good..........But goes bad....
Review: This book did start out well, but after the first 8 days itquickly led to confusion.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Just what I needed.!
Review: This book is one of the best C++ books I have read, it is very helpful, and starts where everyone learning C++ should start, and explains everything thoroughly, instead of giving you code, and not explaining what its for like some other books.
