Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Standard Study Guide for the Server+ exam Review: This book is the single best book to use for this exam. I own two other Server+ study guides and after writing and passing the Server+ exam they don't even come close. The Server+ Bible was right on the money, Seriously, this book is the Mike Meyers A+ cert book but for the Server+ certification exam and by Trevor Kay. I definitely believe this book will be recognized as the standard study guide for the Server+ exam.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Best out there Review: After using the Sybex Server+ study guide and thought I had everything down, I took the Sever+ exam back in January and failed miserably. I was very disappointed the Sybex put out such a crummy study guide for this very hard exam. After reading the reviews for the Server+ bible, I decided to spend the money and try again. Good news, I passed the exam April 4th. What a difference this book made. I'm not kidding, if your studying for the Sever+ exam, make sure you have this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Best Server + Study Book Available Review: This is an excellent teaching and review guide for the Comptia Server+ exam. The study material is 502 pages, with factual information regarding every aspect of Server knowledge, along with easy to understand explanations of less obvious facts. Each chapter has a review, and a 100 question practice test covering all the material is at the end of the book. The included CD also has a 264 question practice test divided into four parts. The book is logical, easy to read, and contains no irrevelant or made-up information, as is found in many other Server + guides on the market. It is written by one author rather than a committee, which may account for its conciseness and readabiltiy. This is one of the the best overall Certification books I have read, and give it a wholehearted 5 star rating.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: TRUST ME TRUST ME TRUST ME...lots of knowledge but need more Review: I just want you to know the truth. You really need to get a supliment to this book because the Server + test is much much much different than the info you learn in the Server + bible. You get a lot of great knowledge from the book but the Server + test is almost all scenario based. I read the book for 2 months on and off. I also supplimented the test with Transcenders test software (which I think prepared me enough to understand the lay out of the test). Do not use the software included in the book to test, it is not useful as it has many errors. If you want to pass the test use this book for facts and a test prep software so you can get an idea of how the test will be. Even after the amount of time I studied I only passed the test with a 78 out of 75. Trust me unless you have a lot of server experience you will need to have more than this book to get ready for this realy tough test... you can check out my other review about the Microsoft edition of the Network + certification. ....Lou....
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Get Certified Review: I had a heck of a time narrowing down which Server+ Study book to buy. There are so many available I thought they were all the same but just put out by different companies. I found the Server+ Certification Bible by far was the best book available for the Server+ exam. Each test objective was covered and the post chapter test questions mimicked the real exam very good in the writing style. This book is a "must to have" on your list with the other study material your using for the Server+ exam.
