Trevor Kay did an excellent job at laying out each exam topic according to the exam objectives. I passed the exam 1/9/03 with this book alone. I'm Server+ Certified Yeah!

It is packed with information including excellent tips that really helped me on the that exam that I did not find in my other Server+ study guides. I truly recommend this book to anyone who is studying for this exam.

This book is the best Server+ prep book I have seen. I passed the exam with flying colors. Don't study this exam without this book.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Assessment tests bring up concepts NOT COVERED in chapter! Review: For example, apart from the test, look for "DMZ" in the first chapter. Can't find it? That's because they forgot to put it in there! (look it up on the 'net) And in chapter 2, an assessment question's answer has to do with "stabilization PLATES" - something that's not mentioned in the chapter either. A couple of the questions are glibly written as well, allowing for any number of answers being technically correct. There's another question in chapter 2 regarding what cable type should be used when connecting a switch to a router (which is vaguely covered in chapter 1) - but the answer they claim appears to be wrong.Oh yes, the title is also wrong - it's "SK0-001" (SKzero, not SKoh) - in hindsight, that's a rather obvious omen. I'd been recommended by a co-worker to get the Microsoft Training Kit book, so I'm going to get it and hope it does a better job. Also, forget about the "Exam Cram" book - it's nowhere near as comprehensive and my co-worker who read from it complained about it too. Ugh, why aren't these certification books ever professionally written?
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Material is good - if you can get past all of the errors! Review: Sometimes I wonder whether I am the only person left on the planet who cares whether a word is spelled correctly! I purchased this book after reading and passing Linux+ with Trevor's Linux+ Certification Bible. Unfortunately, it appears that absolutely no proofreading went into this book before it went to press! I must have circled more than 50 errors before I stopped halfway through the book! Trevor, I will proofread your next book if you send it chapter-by-chapter. Write the Security+ book though; I haven't taken that test yet! :)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent study guide Review: I found the Server+ Certification Bible to be my best resource for the Server+ exam. The book is strictly exam focused and it really concentrated on what you need to know to pass the exam. Study hard and you will pass too:) I fully recommend this book!

Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: What a waste of money Review: This book did not cover all the Server+ topics at all. I passed the exam, but not thanks to this book. This book is a waste money and should be bypassed in favor of more accurate books such as Mike Myers Server+ or Exam Cram.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: What a poor excuse for a certification book Review: This book did NOT cover all the topics on the Server+ exam. I did pass my exam, but not thanks to this book. This book covers some topics such as RAID levels in great detail, while ignoring other topics such as the OSI model (which is covered on the test in part) altogether. Please, do not waste you money on this one. Go buy Mike Myers Server+ guide or the Exam Cram one. Both do a much better job then Trevor Kay's book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Need to pass the exam? Review: Passed the 1st time using only this as a source of reference. Depth of subject matter is important to pass exam and this book delivers. Comes with a great test engine on CD.
