Rating: Summary: Lots of useful information... Review: These books are great resources for the Advanced Access Developer. Let me stress the word "Advanced". You should have a good understanding of Access and VBA before using these books or you may find yourself lost in a sea of overwelming information. The only real grip I have about the set is their size. I would have been willing to pay extra if the set were broken down into 4 easy to manage books instead of 2 monster 1000+ page books. At any rate if you're already comfortable with Access 2000, these books are a must have.
Rating: Summary: You won't be sorry..... Review: These books are great. I had the '97 Developer's handbook, and learned so much from it. Now, with the 2000 set, every time I try something new and get stuck, I've found help here. The examples and sample databases are very easy to understand and adapt to your own applications.
Rating: Summary: Excelent Reference Review: These books is simply awesome. I have worked with Access for 7 years now, and have worked with more than 15 books that teach Access. These books are simply the best I have worked with. While they won't teach you the basics of working with Access, they will teach any knowledgeable Access programmer how to take their Access applications to the next level. I would recommend these books to anyone serious about developing professional applications with Microsoft Acess.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Indispensable Review: These books provide often needed support in my job as a database developer. They are a must have for any developer who wants to expand their knowledge and be able to create a much more robust application. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to learn more about Access. Of all of the books I have, these easily outdo them all in readability and ease of understanding.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Resource For Access Developers Review: These guys are the best! It's extremely rare to not find the answer to an Access question in one of these two volumes.
Rating: Summary: This book and the series really do blow all the others away. Review: This is my 4th book ive purchased for access database programing...This one and particularly the series are the best of the ones ive had. It was slighty more expensive, but well worth it.The cdrom included contains all the code in the book, and there stacks of code. Its pretty cool. You can copy and paste them into your own applications and it can save hours. I wouldnt suggest it for a begginer though. Its pretty hardcore. Hope this helps you make a decision.
Rating: Summary: THE Access 2000 resource Review: This is THE resource to get! I talk every new boss into buying this resource.
